About me
Most people choose a profession based on the benefits they can gain
from it. For me, I decided that I need to be passionate about the job
that I do. My first love in life has always been arts. Thus, for me
art is not just a profession, but it is my life. Being an artist you
have to give freedom to your thoughts as well as keep yourself abreast
with what is new in the field. This brought me to Bowling Green State
University to pursue a Master's of Fine Arts degree in Digital Art.
Art both reflects and is reflected in social realities. During the course of study, I have realized through experience that an artist needs to be sensitive, poignant, mutinous, reformer and aware – all at the same time. Recently,
I completed my second Master's degree in Fine Arts with specialization
in Digital Arts from Bowling Green State University, Ohio, USA. By
exposing myself to a technically superior environment and knowledge
base, I enhanced my perspective towards art. In the graduate program,
I acquired newer valued skills and techniques to expand the emphasis
of my earlier attained education and thereby strengthened my
understanding of the subject, and techniques This exposure will facilitate me in contributing to the field of Digital Art with a more scientific, futuristic and technical outlook.
My work experience as a teaching assistant has occasioned numerous teaching moments and provided me an opportunity to work with a culturally diverse student body in exploring the different dimensions of art and pedagogy. |
